I'm not one for short and boring descriptions, so if you're looking for a short and boring person, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Profiles are always hard, so I'm going to start with things that I like. My passions are travel, and people; I really love seeing new things and making new friends. *Proper* friends, mind you. I know this is a sex site, but I'd rather be having a conversation with someone because they're genuinely interesting, rather than just as a prelude to sex.

I love travel because it provides such excellent opportunities for experiencing new cultures, places, ideas, activities, and events. You only live once, and I'm sure not going to waste it! I've been to many places around the world, and I'm looking forward to going to many more.

I'm not your everyday guy, and I'm determined not to lead an everyday life. I love gadgets, and shiny things, and stories, and games, and chocolate, and getting into trouble, and making people laugh.

I'm terrible at many things: Ice-skating, hacky-sack, profile writing, rock-climbing, asking girls out, flossing my wisdom teeth, remembering the words to songs, and finding where I left my keys last night. Yet I continue to do these things regardless; I don't have to be good at something for it to be fun.

I don't have any kids, but I tend to get along well with them. That's not surprising, since they often have gadgets, and shiny things, and toys, and games, and chocolate. ;)

I try to never refuse an adventure. That's got me into some interesting places at time, since not all adventures go as planned! It also means I'm willing to try new things to see if I like them. Sometimes I have to try things a great many times to get a statistically significant sample. ;)

As you've probably guessed from my picture, I like costumes, and standing out in a crowd; I enjoy the attention. I'm also easily impressed by the outfits of others, whatever your taste may be.

Professionally, I have my own very successful business. I get paid to travel, meet new people, play with gadgets, eat chocolate, train secret special agents, conduct fascinating social experiments, and talk like a pirate. Okay, maybe I the bit about the chocolate was a lie, but everything else is actually true!

I have a secret identity who fights for truth and freedom, but I can't tell you much more than that in a public forum like this, because then it wouldn't be a *secret* identity, would it? You can ask me more if you're curious.

I like thinking. Wordplay, good grammar, riddles, science, puzzles, and anything that involves figuring things out really get me going.

I have lots of outdoor activities that I enjoy, including cycling, scuba-diving, mushroom hunting, caving, and anything that sounds adventurous. I've been swimming with more than a dozen sharks (all bigger than I am), and in caves where glow-worms have lit up the roof like the night sky full of stars!

As for why I'm here? Well, you've probably guessed it's because of my passion for people. I love meeting new people, and if that leads to something more, that's even better! Do be aware that I'm in an open marriage, and I'm here with my wife's full knowledge. I'm not looking to keep any secrets, play any games, or break any hearts.

Finally, if you're here because of my tagline, then yes, I'm very fond of adventures! A trip to the beach, a camping trip in the great outdoors, or anything that's unusual or different really excites me!

If you've read this far, then there's a good chance I'm interested in meeting you, but there might be a few exceptions, so let's start with those.

I'd rather not meet pushy people. If you're looking to "hook up" with the expectation of sex on the first date, then I'm probably not be the person you're looking for. I'd really rather get to know someone first before taking things further. I'm very comfortable with the idea of friends with benefits, but the friends part has to come first.

If you're overly negative, we probably won't get along either. As you've probably guessed, I'm a very much a glass half-full kind of guy.

If *you* think you're smart, interesting, self-identify as a geek, have hobbies that you're passionate about, have travelled, are thinking of travelling, enjoy conversation, like adventures, are an evil genius, or like to smile, then I most certainly do want to hear from you.
