After giving this some careful consideration and numerous profile updates, I have come to the conclusion that it really doesn't matter how you describe yourself.

I could say "Fun loving man, well mannered, gentle and caring in nature, loves the great outdoors especially the beach, enjoys spending time in good conversation over a drink/coffee. Is equally comfortable going out and painting the town red and trying new things or lazing on the couch watching a good movie over a glass of wine" - all of which is true of me.

I could also say all of those things but really be " An absolutely boring arse who sits in front of the TV all day watching all the sport I can over a carton of beer, have the manners of a baboon, rough and hurtful in nature, loves the TV remote, enjoys spending time trying to find more sport to watch. Is equally comfortable watching the game at home on the couch or down the pub infront of the big screen" - none of which describes me.

Someone who is interested in casual fun and friendship (maybe more who knows what could be around the corner).We are only here for a short amount of time. Make the most of every moment and enjoy every second. Do you have a sense of adventure, needing someone to give the attention to you instead of to themselves.

"The Dark Half" and "The Dome" both by Stephen King were the last books I really enjoyed, couldn't put them down. If the author can't get my interest within the first 2 or 3 chapters it becomes a long and slow process to carry on reading the book.
