ENBRACE LIFE
This morning I thought shit my rain water is no longer which means to me no water in the house "NADA", it was not the end of the world but a pain butt all we have to do is truck some rain water in no big deal, I am feeling this now as I have just found out a friends daughter has be diagnosed with Wilms Cancer affects the kidneys she is only 4 years old.
So lets take a step back and look how lucky we are and just remember to send your angels to those in need,

-It's far to easy to get complacent and fall into a routine. The hardships faced by others is a good reminder that the future isn't set in stone and we should never take things for granted. Seems so easy to say...but it is easy to do. Every day we should be thankful for the things we have rather than wishing for more.
So sad when a I child so young has to face a terrible disease but a small positive is that it has reminded you to appreciate your life and your loved ones. Your positive thinking will no doubt be a great support to your friend xx

Karuah, NSW, AUEmbrace Life - as is said 'Life is Short'....
I feel for the children & their families, major illnesses bring some real challenges & to these innocent children, it does not feel very fair..
Having undergone 5 operations for a brain tumour 10yrs ago, I always remember thinking I was really glad it was happening to me & not to any of my kids - that would have devastated me. Currently with stitches in my arm (beniegn tumour - oops spelling) & 2 x medical reviews (Tamworth & Canberra) in the next few weeks, I know I am so lucky with my life. Lost an amazing friend 2 weeks ago to a brain tumour, he was an incredible person & too young to die that way. He & his wife taught me how to always look for the positive in life & embrace it with both hands, especially when it seems like it is falling apart.
Their quotes that have helped me are 'We are never given a challenge we cannot handle' & 'When going through hell, keep on running'.. Best wishes for all sick children to recover quickly & fully.. :)125 Comments - 9 Blog Posts -

-So, so true. I don't sweat the small shit. I don't get particularly stressed about little things anymore....more laugh and see the funny side and not dwell/think on things too much.. Have learnt there is little point and you can't change what happens in life. Big curve balls are thrown. When big stuff happens...that's different....and you deal with them as best you can.
I wish the little girl well xo
