First Time is the Hardest . . . .
The first time is the hardest . . . .? Isn't that what they say? Dripping with sweat after a hard workout, it's been a while . . . .
Running!! What else to do when there is no partner beside you in the morning . . Beautiful morning along the beach, no rain, seemed like a good idea . The challenge will be if I repeat it tomorrow morning!!
What challenges are you facing at the moment? I hope the weather & scenery is great where ever you are . . Have a Nice Day!! :)

Karuah, NSW, AUSo true '64, the variation does help, as well as the self-determination to hit those targets.
& Yes, I went running this morning, same distance - though much harder to do my running intervals. Sometimes stubborness is the only thing that keeps you going....
Lots of stretches, though the quads & hammies could do with a good rub down - The Ironwomen manage to get one, so where is a good Swedish Massage when you need one....
Maybe I could have asked the Lifeguard who was setting up??125 Comments - 9 Blog Posts

-I do anywhere from 6 - 10 sessions of exercise/gym work per week. I find mixing it up helps. I vary what I do in the gym, I ride my road bike and swim. But as passport says it about goals - I have a minimum 6 sessions per goal and haven't missed it since I started 20 months ago. Just can't handle not make my targets.

Karuah, NSW, AUMotivation & Interruptions, it is all hard, sometimes we just have to want it really bad, and when you start seeing the changes, that tends to help build the motivation to keep going.. Here's hoping I go for another run tomorrow morning, thighs were only a little sore, more stretches I think :)

-Overall getting motivated. I've been off my bike for ages, its so great being on it but every excuse internally to start again- just need someone to just harass me into getting back on it ;p

-I'm exercising daily at the mo....have got a couple of health issues which are trying to put a spanner in the work..but I'm just avoiding hurting that particular Spot. I could be using it as a total excuse to just not go...but that wouldn't do me any good. I like to think of the gym as less about exercise and more about something that I need/have to do to maintain health.
Hope you have a lovely day xo

Karuah, NSW, AUHad an awesome day NV, if you have a prior injury, make sure you can find a good Personal Trainer to advise, so that you don't put any further stress on it... Well done, getting fit for the NT, it will be so worth it.. :)

An airconditioned gym would be the only way I would do it, that far north.... Survivable here, though the cold beer would be nice!! :)
