Music Trivia Results - Hits of the 90's
Another crushing victory for the guys, strangely the score was the same as last month - 25 to 5. A second unofficial game was played and the score yet again was 25 - 5... kinda freaky huh?
I hope everyone had a good time. I also apologise if i was a little blunt with some of you when you complained about some of the songs not being to your liking. I put a fair bit of time into these things just to provide a bit of fun for everyone, and sometimes the complaints feel a little unapreciated, but i know thats not true so i should have just bit my tongue and shut up. Once again, I'm sorry.
Next month i'm not sure what the theme will be, i was thinking Aussie Rock, but someone suggested hits of the noughties.

-Nux, I'm sure everyone who participated was very appreciative of the time and effort you put into the trivia.
I must say this though, and I'm sure most of the people in the room that night noticed this......the only reason the boys won was because the girls were outnumbered at least 6:1!!! Thats my excuse anyway!!
By the way Nux, I really did think the Alanis Morrisette song was called 'You Learn' instead of 'Jagged Little Pill' hehehe
I really can't wait until the next trivia night!
Thank you again!!-

Brunswick Heads, NSW, AULOL @ 6:1, it was nothing like that.... it was probably something like 10 girls to say 15 boys for the most part, and did you notice me continuously reminding people to click my cam to hear the audio? that was because there was 3 blokes who were not even listening, so obviously not playing. It would be very diffucult to make the teams completely even tho whole way through the game, people arrive in the room and most of the time i'm busy trying to select the next song, and post the scores, and confirm who won the previous point and type out what the correct answer was. Next time, at the start of the game if there's more blokes than girls we can get some of the blokes to wear pink avatars to ballance up the numbers. I guess at the half way point in the game we can check numbers again.

-hehehe there was a point in the game where we were outnumbered 6:1...not the whole way thru it though,I admit that!
However, do you think that if you make some of boys play on the girls team, like you suggested, that they'll actually even try to guess the answers??? give me a break!!
There is really nothing that can be done about the numbers of each sex playing or the imbalance between the teams, thats not the point....my point is, don't get so cocky boys, or start showing off about how you kicked our butts...you didn't necessarily win because you're any better at this than the girls, its because there are simply too many of you and too few of us!!! lol

-Im sorry I missed it. I am sure had I been there the girls would have won ( yeah right) pmsl. promise to be more alert for when the next one is on..xxx
Not to be bitchy at anyway, I agree, some don't realise the work and effort it takes to amuse a crowd of 20+ for 2 hours. Keep up the good work

-Nux, baby, when all the attention surrounds you it's only natural when you get a slightly negative comment, suddenly you don't know what to do about it. i didn't really expect to know many of the songs from the 90's let alone pic the details and type in the odd one i did know. when you chose to select belinda carlisle-summer rain, you made my nite, one of my favourites throughout the 90's and still gets played throughout the house to this day.i'm sure others got a little something from last nite too. Much appreciated for the nite. my suggestion:popular songs and music from Movies throughout the ages. For next time though Aussie rock is much favoured here.
