Working where I see families on holidays every day means you see a lot things.

I love to see little kids eyes light up at the idea of new adventures. Standing nervously at the edge of the pool while mum or dad are in the water encouraging them to jump with the promise of a safe catch. Embaressed and hiding behind mum/dad's legs when stragers are introduced. Seeing them run enthusiastically to the arms of Grand-Parents.

I always try to take a little bit of time to say hello to each child and I am always very polite to them and try to insist on the same in return. It really makes me glow when I see a child warm to me over a couple of days, greet me with a smile, learn my name and remember their "please" and "thank you".

night time ,climbing on the roof,doona and pillow in hand to lie with my daughter and watch the eclipse..walking thru crunchy leaves in autumn.reading a book in an old empty lionfoot bath that was under a jacaranda tree(strange but wonderfully true)old people holding hands.playing in the rain,dancing on a beach on a windy ,night...lighthouses..pets that love you even on your unloveable days .sleepy eyed children in pyjamas with the feet in them .so cute..and lollies

The smell of rain drifting thru a slightly open window as you lay with your lover. Tucked under him arm, your head on his chest, his fingers interlaced with yours.
Watching kids have tea parties.
Watching the cat chase a moth that's way over his head! Or chasing a paper ball... Or, actually just watching the cat! Lol
Eating a meal with my whole family.
Crying over a movie. (yes this makes me happy)
Star gazing at night.
Just to name a few.

Walking round a deserted island in the tropics on your own, taking in the serenity & thinking to yourself how lucky you are to be there!
